With the Release of Patch 2.4 , I again want to remind everyone to be careful, as Add-Ons are now out of date, updating them can become a Persons Worst nightmare as its the time for hackers to Play thier little tricks to get your Account information to hack and steal your Account.

Remember to scan all zips and attachments a few times, addons should NOT come as an EXE file in them. Exe files can install things you dont want, which can compermise your system and account.

Also even those Programs like aceuploader and a few others are auto install programs that can be useful, they are susceptible, if a hacker uploads a crupt file to the main server throught hacks, then your auto updagter may download it.

Another thing is to redo all home Computer scans for virus, trojans and other unwanted trash.

And never use your same account name or password for Forums or other sites, keep your WoW password complex and not something that relates to you. Changing the password after visting the wrong site accidently or after uploading addons can also help to protect you account.
